Flash floods - 4Deserts Namib Race - Early-warning systems test

Unusually widespread rains during the past two weeks have changed the face of the desert. In addition to the six major river systems, flash floods were recorded along several of the smaller drainage lines, including the Obab, Beacon, Samanab, Springbok and Agab Rivers.
